چکیده

Transition metal phosphides (TMPs) have attracted considerable attention as an advanced electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Nevertheless, the catalytic efficiency of single-component TMPs is still restricted that cannot endure long-term running and easy to be corroded especially under harsh conditions. In this work, a multicomponent combined with CoP/Ni2P heteronanoparticles Co/Ni single-atom active sites (denoted N–[email protected]/Ni2P) rational designed prepared. The obtained protected]/Ni2P electrode material exhibits enhanced performance overpotential 153 mV at 10 mA cm−2, small Tafel value 53.01 dec−1 in 0.5 M H2SO4, satisfied result basic media well. outstanding HER mainly benefiting from synergistic effect between CoP Ni2P, highly faction atomic dual sites. Furthermore, powerful conductive network fabricated by N-doped carbon skeleton in-situ grown CNTs improves conductivity catalyst. Such stereoscopic 3D nanostructure also facile accelerate shuttle electrons ions.

Preparation of Ni-P-CeO2 electrode and study on electrocatalytic properties for hydrogen evolution reaction

In this study ternary Ni-P-CeO2 catalysts were first synthesized by the Co-electrodeposition method on a copper substrate and then characterized by means of microstructural and electrochemical techniques toward a hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Also, for comparison other catalysts such as Ni-CeO2, Ni-P, and Ni were prepared and characterized by the same methods. The microstructure of the inv...

Porous metallic MoO2-supported MoS2 nanosheets for enhanced electrocatalytic activity in the hydrogen evolution reaction.

Advanced materials for electrocatalytic water splitting are central to renewable energy research. In this work, MoS2 nanosheets supported on porous metallic MoO2 (MoS2/MoO2) were produced by sulfuration treatments of porous and highly conductive MoO2 for the hydrogen evolution reaction. Porous MoO2 with one-dimensional channel-like structures was prepared by calcination at elevated temperatures...

Electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution in acidic water with molecular cobalt tetraazamacrocycles.

A series of water-soluble molecular cobalt complexes of tetraazamacrocyclic ligands are reported for the electrocatalytic production of H(2) from pH 2.2 aqueous solutions. The comparative data reported for this family of complexes shed light on their relative efficiencies for hydrogen evolution in water. Rotating disk electrode voltammetry data are presented for each of the complexes discussed,...
